What's New for the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

For the 2022 model year, the Chevrolet Trailblazer comes with many exciting updates. The latest Trailblazer gets more creature comforts and outdoor elements that make it better for your adventures. The Chevy Trailblazer is now offered with an expanded range of exterior colors, including blue, orange, and mahogany metallic shades. It now comes with a heated steering wheel, which is available on some trims and standard on the RS and ACTIV trim levels. You can select a dealer-installed trailering package as well, along with optional roof rack cross rails to enhance the image and utility of your small SUV.

2022 Trailblazer Trims & Features

There are four trim levels of the 2022 Trailblazer:

Activ
RS

The LS, the base model, is configured with a seven-inch touchscreen and 17-inch alloy wheels. It has smartphone integration, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The passenger's seat in front folds flat to maximize storage space, and the car has a standard six-speaker sound system.

The second trim, the LT, brings LED fog lights, roof rails, and heated mirrors into the equation. This trim adds heated front seats and tinted back windows for comfort and privacy.

The Activ trim is the third in the Chevy Trailblazer lineup for 2022. The Activ trim uses a stronger 1.3L turbo engine. It has a tow hitch receiver and adaptive suspension system that is ideal for off-road exploring. The seating material is upgraded to simulated leather upholstery, and the steering wheel and gear shift knob are wrapped in leather. The Activ also has a two-tone roof and underbody skid plates.

2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer Horsepower

The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer uses two engines. The base engine is a turbo 1.2L with three cylinders. This engine provides 137 HP in power and 162 LB-FT in torque. It comes with an automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard. You can get an all-wheel drive with this engine, which is standard if you get the stronger engine. The second engine has a power capacity of 155 HP. An automatic nine-speed transmission is standard.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Safety

Lane-keep assist and forward collision avoidance are standard safety aids on the 2022 Trailblazer. Rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are offered in a Driver Confidence Package.
