2021 Chevrolet Suburban

What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban?

The Chevrolet Suburban gets a full redesign for the 2021 model year. This year's Suburban shares the same platform as the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The new platform increases the Suburban's wheelbase and increases its interior space, giving occupants more legroom in the back. The cargo capacity of the 2021 Suburban is more than 20 cubic feet larger than the 2020 model, offering additional storage capacity for all your gear and groceries.

There are several seating configurations available for the Suburban, which range from captain's chairs that provide seating for seven to an eight-seat capacity on the lower-level trims. Technology is updated with a large infotainment system that has been re-centered on the dashboard to provide easier access.

2021 Suburban Trims & Features

Six trims are available in the 2021 Chevy Suburban family. The base trim, called the LS, comes with a large 10.2-inch display screen, which is the largest among entry-level models in the SUV's class. Android Auto, smartphone connectivity, and Apple CarPlay are supported. There's room for eight in the LS, although you have a choice of a bench-style seat in the front row or two chairs.

Some safety technology is also standard. A hands-free liftgate is an added convenience on the LT, which also adds more technology, including a wireless charging pad. The LT also has heated seats in front. Larger 22-inch wheels are standard on the RST, which also has unique black exterior trim accents and an exclusive front fascia. More off-road features are included on the Z71, which has improved ground clearance, low-range gearing, tow hooks, and off-road tires. Seating for seven is standard on the Premier, along with a 10-speaker Bose stereo and a digital instrument panel. The High Country follows with more safety features and a bronze grille.
