This year's Silverado has a brand new diesel engine to choose from, a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel featured on the models of the Silverado. Adaptive cruise control is available in the 1500 for the first time in history as well, giving you a smoother way to drive those long stretches of highway in your eternally handsome Silverado. Throw in an advanced trailering system this year, with 15 available camera angles, and you've got a brand new Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 to brag about.

2020 Silverado Trims & Features

All-new Silverado trims of the 1500, 2500, and 3500 are constructed with high strength steel, equipped with modern technology, and full of personality and sophisticated exterior colors. Trims in 2020 include High Country, LTZ, LT Trail Boss, RST, LT, Custom Trail Boss, Custom, and Work Truck.

A massive amount of features comes on each truck, with the ability to customize your Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 at every level, but among the highlights of each trim include a 13,400 lb maximum towing, 2,250 lb maximum payload rating, and 89.1 cu. ft. of cargo space. If that's not enough, imagine choosing from amazing colors like Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, and Summit White (many more available).

2020 Chevrolet Silverado Horsepower

2020 Chevy SilveradoEngine choices are in plentiful supply in 2020. The Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 is offered with a best-in-class 6.2L V8 engine that delivers power unlike anything else in its class. A DURAMAX® 3.0L TURBO-DIESEL I-6 engine gives you 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque (combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission). That's just for starters, though. A second choice is the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 with dynamic fuel management (rated at 420 horsepower 460 lbs-ft of torque). Your third option is a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine (355 horsepower) combined with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Fourth up is a 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque (combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission). Finally, there's a 2.7L turbo engine with active fuel management, good for 310 horsepower, and 348 lb-ft of torque (combined with 8-speed automatic transmission). It's an unbridled lineup of power, efficiency, and technology with either your Silverado 1500, 2500, or 3500.

Chevrolet Silverado Safety

2020 Chevy SilveradoDrive mode selectors make for a safer drive in adverse weather conditions. You can choose from settings like normal, sport, tow/haul, off-road, terrain, and snow/ice. You can clearly see how this would be beneficial to you as you're navigating either your Silverado 1500, 2500, or 3500.

In addition, to drive modes, you've got the high strength steel construction and great driver-assist features like Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Alert. Camera systems and sensors around your truck work together to make playing more fun and working safer and more efficient, such as 15 camera angles available for trailering. Chevrolet left nothing out in their drive to make the 2020 Silverado its safest ever.
