It has a confident stance not too tall, but with just enough presence. The front grille and fascia get subtle details that lend a refined feel rather than feeling barebones.

The Hybrid part is good; The Kia part is terrible
By Wild Bill | on Friday, July 18, 2025
We’ve owned our Sportage HEV for 2 years. In that two years, we’ve had the car at the dealership several times for things that fall under warranty….but what fun is it to have the following replaced on a garage-kept, hand washed, meticulously maintained car: door handle replacement, headlight replacement, rear hatch lock replacement. Now that the car has 30K miles, it’s time for another headlight replacement, another door handle replacement and the turbo is malfunctioning. The dealership assures us that everything is fine but I will not be purchasing another Kia. We love the hybrid feature. We do not enjoy the lackluster sound system and terrible build quality. Eight trips to the shop to have things fixed in the first 2 years isn’t my idea of a good vehicle.… - 5.0
Perfect vehicle for all purposes.

Great advanced technology creates a safe reliable ride. This SX model has more safety features than my 2020 E class Benz at half the price. The handling on city roads is tight and comfortable. On the Highway it performs very well, with responding to pass other vehicles and maintains a steady cruise speed without searching gears constantly like other SUV’s I have owned.… - 5.0
First time buying a Kia, and I’m impressed!
By THK | on Thursday, January 27, 2022
I bought the 2022 Kia Sportage SX Turbo package, and I’m really liking it right now. I’ve bought more cars than you can shake a stick at, and at least half the time I’ll be feeling that buyer’s remorse or totally disinterested after the new wears off. I can honestly say, it’s not like that with this vehicle. I wasn’t a fan of Kia, and I went on a whim. I checked out a car first that was nice but i like to feel like I’m sitting down inside of a vehicle and the car just felt too high seated. Seen the Sportage and I was feeling it. It was around $10,000 more, but I decided I wanted to test drive it. With all the bells and whistles that come with this particular package, I was sold fairly easily. My 11 year old daughter likes it also. I came from a Jeep Wrangler with a 15 gln tank, so the gas mileage was great compared to what I’m accustomed. It’ll get up and go when you need it to. I looked down and had to pump the breaks because I was coming up on 100mph. It comes with 3 drive settings. Eco is what I keep it in, and I’m currently getting around 26/28 miles a gallon. Other two are Smart and Sport.…
