Why it can be an exciting choice

Driving enjoyment: While its not a dedicated sports car, the Civic Sport gives a bit more punch and presence than the bare-bones model. The engine and chassis feel responsive in everyday driving, making it fun and practical.

Daily-driver versatility: Its compact enough for city/suburban use (parking, maneuvering) but still offers comfortable space for 5 people and a useful trunk for a compact car.

Modern and future-proofed: With the latest generation Civic redesign (for 2023), youre getting updated styling, current tech, up-to-date safety features and a strong reputation for reliability.

Good value in the sport trim: The Sport version sits between base and premium trims you get nicer touches and sportier design without jumping into very high cost territory.

Efficiency + capability: The combination of decent power, good fuel economy and modern features means you dont have to sacrifice one major dimension for another you can enjoy driving it and live with it day-to-day.

Fun to drive and fuel efficient car. CVT numbs the driving a lot but is a trade off for the increased fuel economy. Seating is decent, but could definitely use some more lumbar support to make it better.

I bought this car about 2 weeks ago and am very satisfied with the value and cost. It has so many safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and more. It even reads the speed limits on the road and displays them on the dash. Adjusts the brights in the dark automatically and turns off when it sees a car coming . I’m averaging 35-38 mpg depending how much city I drive in. Only take $25 to fill up. I love this car!

Value of the MSRP compared to resell is insane, $5,000. Obviously Civics aren’t for bigger/tall people, however there is a ton of space in the basic LX model. It is difficult for me to get in and out though (I’m 5’10, 175lbs). My one complaint is the defrost of the rear and side mirrors. They don’t. You have to drive until your side mirrors use the wind to clear the dew. Other than that, have a steady 29mpg. Highest has been 30mpg. Safety features include lane departure mitigation, the steering wheel does pull you back into the lane, alert for brake is just okay. Planning on getting 200k miles on this car as I truly believe Honda’s last forever. If you have a baby, you need to get a specific mirror to see your kiddo. The ones they sell at Walmart do not fit around the head rest as they don’t adjust for you to clip.
