The 2022 Honda Accord Sport is the perfect blend of sporty flair and everyday practicality a midsize sedan that doesnt just do the daily drive, but makes it feel a little more alive.Performance & PowerUnder the hood, the base (non2.0T) Sport comes with a 1.5liter turbocharged 4cylinder, producing 192 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque.Kbb.com+1That turbo power comes on strong at lower RPMs (torque from 1,600 to 5,000 rpm), giving it good passing punch and responsiveness.Automobile Catalog+1The transmission is a CVT (continuously variable) tuned with a Sport mode, which gives you a more dynamic feel when you want it.Honda Info Center+1EPA fuel economy for the Sport trim (with the 1.5L) is around 29 mpg city / 35 mpg highway.CarsDirectTheres also a Sport 2.0T option, for those who want serious performance: 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0L turbo, mated to a 10-speed automatic.Honda Info Center+1That 2.0T version can hit 060 in about 6.8 seconds per some spec sources.Car SpecsDesign & StylingThe exterior has a sporty but refined look: the Sport trim gets 17-inch alloy wheels (on the standard 1.5T version) and a more aggressive stance than the base model.Honda Info CenterInside, the steering wheel is leather-wrapped, giving a more upscale, driver-focused feel.Performance HondaUpholstery comes in either black or ivory cloth, giving a clean, sporty interior look.Ike HondaInterior & ComfortThe driver gets a power-adjustable seat, helping you dial in the perfect position.Ike HondaCargo capacity is very generous for a midsize: the trunk holds over 16 cubic feet, and the rear seats fold down to increase versatility.Ike HondaInfotainment centers around an 8-inch touchscreen, paired with an 8-speaker stereo system.Ike HondaSmartphone integration is solid, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.Ike HondaDriving ExperienceIn the 1.5L turbo version, the Accord Sport feels peppy and responsive especially for city driving and highway merging. The CVT helps with efficiency, but in Sport mode, it holds revs better to feel more engaging. With the 2.0T option, the power delivery becomes much more aggressive, and the 10-speed automatic makes shifts feel sporty.Safety & PracticalityThe Accord has a solid reputation for safety it includes features like Hill Start Assist, Active Noise Cancellation, and a drive-by-wire throttle for smooth control.Honda Info CenterFront-wheel drive gives efficient handling, and the suspension and chassis are tuned to balance comfort and sportiness. Why It Feels ExcitingTurbocharged Thrill: That turbo 1.5L gives more torque than youd expect in a regular midsize sedan, making acceleration fun and engaging.Sporty Design Touches: From the wheels to the leather steering wheel, the Sport trim looks and feels more athletic than a base Accord.Flexible Performance: You can go efficient with the 1.5L or get more firepower with the 2.0T both keep it practical, but in very different ways.Tech + Comfort: Modern infotainment + a roomy trunk + fold-down seats = a car thats both fun and useful.Balanced Everyday Use: Its not just a weekend toy its a sedan you can drive every day, get good mileage from, and feel confident behind the wheel.

This is probably one of the best sleeper cars you could ever own. The 2.0T engine is a beast and will lay down some serious rubber. It will break loose shifting all the way into 3rd. That on top of averaging >30 mpg, you would be hard pressed to find a better family sedan. With the red paint on the touring version of this car is a must. It looks good from almost every angle. While I love the look of the rims they seem to have issues with extending beyond the edge of the tires which results in scratches. Long rides are also a little difficult in this low rider. While the adaptive suspension is pretty great, the seat gets pretty uncomfortable about 100 miles in.

This Accord has made me happy. I had to purchase it quickly after my A5 was totaled and my insurance company gave me little time in a rental. With mostly around town driving I was able to see how having the torque down low was of great benefit. I traveled to Austin to COTA and while on the toll roads 85 - 90 was comfortable and quiet. I kept driving on that tank until Thursday and was happy to avg 33.8 MPG of mixed Hwy and City. I tend to have a lead foot and obtaining that surprised me. I have played with many of the electronic systems and love the integration of these systems. If you explore the car systems, you will find items that will make ownership more enjoyable. Smooth when you want it, capable when you need it. HUGE trunk and backseat doesnt hurt.

I've had my 2018 Accord Sport for a year now. I commute 160 miles each day so I'm already approaching 40K miles. I've had many Honda's and enjoyed them all, but this is the first one to feel like I got a lot more car for the money. I get bored with cars easily, but a year later I can't imagine ever replacing this. The quality of the finish inside and out was reminiscent of my wife's Mercedes ML350. The dash layout and infotainment are finally updated and look on par with the best out there. The seats are firm but comfortable most of the time. Back seat leg room is huge! When selecting the Accord, I knew I was going to put a ton of miles on it, so MPG and cost of maintenance was important. The Sport is rated at 35MPG highway, and I routinely exceed 40+. Services have been reasonably priced and have come approx every 10K miles. The only item that will cost me soon is replacing the tires. Being 19" rims and low profile, I anticipate spending upwards of $1000. My only real complaint is that there is A LOT of road noise. I'm hoping a good quality set of replacement tires will help that. I've had a few issues with the Apple CarPlay that the dealer hasn't been able to fix so I've just lived with it. It's missing a couple of key features like remote start and blind spot monitor, but I discovered if you buy a Honda remote with the remote start button on it and have it programmed to your vehicle, remote start will function. Bottom line: I've driven a lot of cars in this class and the Accord is by far the best. It's almost on par with European cars that are $20K more. It's comfy, fast, stylish and yet practical. 40K miles later and I still look forward to getting in it every morning.
