Chevrolet Vehicle Service Warning Indicators
A dashboard indicator light comes on when something isn’t functioning properly with your vehicle. Not every vehicle owner understands what some of these lights mean. Here are 10 of the most common service indicators.
Airbag Fault
Your airbag light should come on upon starting the vehicle, but this light should go away right after that. If the light remains on, a professional can determine if there is a malfunction with your airbag system.
Low Fuel Level Warning Light
It’s common to forget to look at your fuel level when you get into your vehicle each day. You don’t have to worry about running out of fuel when you have a Chevy. You’ll have a dashboard light come on when you have a few miles left of fuel.
Oil Pressure Warning Light
Not having enough oil in your engine can lead to much bigger problems. If your vehicle is letting you know that your oil level is low, check to see if that’s true. If not, have a professional check your oil pressure system.

Pay attention to the alert that your Chevy is giving you that says you are in need of routine service in the near future. Make an appointment for the oil change and tire rotation.
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

Slip Indicator

Charging System Warning Light
