Specs at a Glance

2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT vs 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country

The latest Chevrolet Silverado represents the most refined version in the truck's lineage. This model is built to impress with a maximum tow rating of 13,300 pounds, a 2,260-pound payload capacity, and 495 lb-ft of torque. However, not every Silverado 1500 trim is identical. The LT trim will contrast noticeably with the High Country trim, particularly in looks and interior features.

Performance

LT and High Country trims feature unique engine and transmission pairings. The High Country is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission with electronic precision shift as standard, whereas the LT uses an 8-speed automatic. The LT's TurboMax engine is standard, producing 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The High Country offers a 5.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine standard, rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, and is the only trim that provides the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine option (420 horsepower/460 lb-ft of torque).

Appearance

The Silverado 1500 LT is a compelling value at the third trim level, but it doesn't deliver the High Country's robust exterior styling. High Country trims come standard with 18" Gloss Black AEV wheels, LED headlamps, a body-color rear bumper, and chrome door handles. LT models include features such as a chrome front bumper, EZ Lift assist power lock-and-release tailgate, and heated power outside mirrors. Both LT and High Country trims offer LED bed lighting.

Features

Few trucks offer as many features as the Silverado 1500. Its interior and exterior design don't disappoint. The LT and High Country differ substantially inside. High Country trims include a Bose premium sound system, rear carpeted floor mats, a front center console, and perforated leather seats. The LT trim, meanwhile, features a 6-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cloth seats. You can configure the Silverado 1500 for affordability and functionality, or opt for the fully loaded High Country trim. Our sales professionals can walk you through the LT and High Country features so you can choose the one that best fits your needs.
