Specs at a Glance

In 2021, as Chevrolet says, the Tahoe is "bigger and bolder" than before. The Tahoe is all-new for the 2021 model year with comprehensive changes to its performance capabilities, appearance, and features. The Tahoe is now equipped with additional technology, more safety aids, including up to nine available cameras, and more space. The Tahoe's frame has been extended and widened to add more volume for occupants on the inside. With the new frame also comes an increase in cargo capacity to 122.9 cubic feet. Now, starting with the base level, the LS, the Tahoe makes vacations, shopping trips, and hauling your belongings around even easier. Starting with the base trim, you'll get a new, larger infotainment system as well. While the LS provides many base-level amenities, you will find even more standard items to enjoy on the top trim called the High Country, which also has its own stronger engine.

Both the Tahoe LS and the High Country run on standard V8. However, the High Country's engine adds more power and torque. With the LS comes a maximum power output of 355 HP. Its top torque rating is 383 LB-FT. The High Country's V8 engine has a more significant displacement of 6.2L than 5.3L with the LS. The larger engine ups the car's power rating to 420 HP, and its torque reaches 460 LB-FT. A six-cylinder diesel engine is available for either trim. The turbo diesel produces nearly 280 HP and has the same torque as the High Country's engine. Four-wheel drive is available for either trim, and they tow up to 8,400 pounds.

The 2021 Chevy Tahoe is available in nine paint colors and your choice of two interior color schemes on both the LS and High Country models. A more prominent front grille gives the LS a commanding presence accented by premium LED headlights. A range of wheels is available for the Tahoe in 2021, which starts with 18-inch wheels paired with all-season tires to help you conquer questionable road surfaces and conditions. The High Country gets 22-inch wheels with a polished finish.

The LS has the Tahoe's new 10.2-inch display screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A Bose sound system with surround and wireless charging comes with the High Country, which also offers captain's chairs to seat seven people. Both trims get a handful of advanced safety aids.
