Specs at a Glance

The Chevrolet Traverse is an excellent three-row SUV option available to you. In total, there are seven different versions of the vehicle. The entry-level model is called the L. It is very well-equipped and has more than enough features for some. Every step up the trim ladder adds some more to love, all the way up to the top-of-the-line High Country. So how different are these two trims?

Performance

One thing that is not different between the L and High Country trim levels of the Traverse is the engine. Both are powered by a 3.6L V6 that will generate 310-horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. Another thing that these two trims share is their nine-speed automatic transmission. One way that these two trims are different involves the drivetrain, with the L trim being front-wheel-drive and the High Country being all-wheel-drive.

Appearance

Both the L and the High Country have sleek outer appearances. The L trim sits on 18-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels. As for the High Country, it gets 20-inch polished alloy wheels. There are some minor differences in the design of these two trims. For example, the L trim has body-colored door handles while the High Country has chrome ones. The High Country also has deep-tinted glass and a beautiful 2-panel power sunroof.

Features

You will find that the L trim level of the Traverse has a good deal of features to offer you. Standard are things like tri-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, a WiFi hot spot, and six USB ports. Also standard is smartphone integration through both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Deciding you want to go with the High Country means getting all of that and more. It adds a power-folding third-row seat. Also found here are the best features found on the middle trim levels, such as a power liftgate, wireless device charging, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel.

At the end of the day, the best way to find out if you would be better off with the L or the High Country trim is to take both of them for a spin. Visit our dealership to learn more about both of these great versions of the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse today.
