What's New For the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV?

In 2020, the Bolt EV gets a boost in the overall range. This year the Bolt EV gets an entire range of 259. That's a 21-mile increase from last year. Also, the Bolt EV gets an all-new HD rear vision and HD surround-view camera system. Aside from the performance and feature changes, there have been no significant changes to the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV.

2020 Bolt EV Trims & Features

For the 2020 model year, the Chevy Bolt EV comes in two available trim levels: LT and Premier. Both trim levels are well-equipped with many standard features for comfort and convenience. Though there are several standard features included on the Bolt EV, you also have the option to add on more features to suit your needs.

The LT base trim comes standard with a six-way adjustable driver and passenger seat, dual-zone climate control and a standard air filter to help circulate fresh air in the cabin. The Chevy Bolt EV also comes with exceptional technology features such as SiriusXM® Radio trial subscription, 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot capability, six-speaker audio system, and a 10.2-inch infotainment display screen for convenience on any adventurous journey.

Moving to the top-level trim, the Premier offers upgraded features like leather steering wheel, special leather seating and Bose 7-speaker stereo system as opposed to the 6-speaker audio system in the LT. In appearance, the Premier includes standard features exclusive to this trim with roof-mounted side rails, black heated power outside mirrors with integrated turn signals indicators, and body-color door handles with chrome strip.

2020 Chevy Bolt EV Horsepower

The 2020 Bolt EV is powered by a Lithium-ion battery array that is rated at 200 horsepower. With this battery, you can get a top range of 259 miles. Acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour is rated at 6.3 seconds. The Bolt EV can go from 60 miles an hour to a full stop in 123 feet.

The Bolt EV is known for its all-electric innovation. However, the Bolt EV is also a leader when it comes to safety features. Top safety features of the 2020 Bolt EV include a complete ten airbag system, LATCH System to secure child seats, pedestrian safety signal, Chevy's electronic stability control system with traction control known as StabiliTrak, HD rear vision camera, Tire Fill Alert, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
