The 2020 Blazer doesn't get monumental changes as it is part of the first Blazer generation that debuted in 2019. Features that carry over this year include refined ride quality, a strong, available V6 engine, and a state-of-the-art infotainment system. The Blazer also stands out for its agile handling.
There are six trim levels offered in the 2020 Chevy Blazer. The base model is called the L. It is provided with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, as are the other trims. This trim comes standard with an HD backup camera. It also has sophisticated traction control and electronic stability control. The L has two-way adjustable restraints in the front and back rows, a passenger's seat that moves in four ways, and a driver's seat that moves in eight ways.
A 4.2-inch driver information screen and a separate eight-inch driver information center are standard, as is a 4G WiFi hotspot connection. Standard USB charging ports are a welcome convenience. The driver's seat is power-operated in the 1LT. Dual-zone climate control is standard, as is a subscription to satellite radio. The next trim, called the 2LT, gets premium cloth seats. Embroidered headrests are optional for a more refined cabin.
You can also get external badges for a custom, trim-specific finish. Carpeted floor mats and bucket seats are another nice touches on this trim. Furthermore, More features such as an auto-dimming mirror and illuminated sill plates are available. Finally, Heated front seats are standard in the 3LT and higher trim levels.
The RS adds a 120V charging outlet and a larger eight-inch driver's infotainment display. Ambient interior lighting, a heated steering wheel, and an eight-speaker Bose sound system are highlights of the Premier, which is the top trim level.
The 2020 Blazer is available with several engines. The base engine has four cylinders and a 2.5L capacity. Additionally, This engine produces up to 193 HP at 6,300 RPM. Its torque output is 188 LB-FT at 4,400 RPM. A stronger 3.6L V6 engine, standard on the higher trims, generates 308 HP at 6,600 RPM and 270 LB-FT of torque at 5,000 RPM. New for this year is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 230 HP.
Front, back, and on all four sides, the 2020 Blazer has your safety needs covered. Advanced airbags and a high-strength steel body protect you and occupants from harm.
