What's New for the 2019 Chevy Camaro?

There are many changes to the Chevy Camaro in 2019. There will no longer be an LS convertible trim. Two new trims are available, the 3LT Coupe and 3LT Convertible. Although 2019 marks the end of some exterior paint options, drivers have new ones to choose from as well. They are Riverside Blue Metallic, Shadow Gray Metallic, and Satin Steel Gray Metallic.

Exterior tweaks were made this year. The LS, LT, and RS models all have newly redesigned front fascias. The SS also gets a new fascia, including a polished black grille. Moving around to the rear of the vehicle, there is a new rear fascia as well. It features sculpted LED tail lights.

Camaro has Seven Trims & Countless Features for 2019

In 2019, drivers will have 7 different trims to choose from when it comes to the Camaro. They are the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1. With the exception of the 1LS, which is only available as a coupe, the rest have both 2-door convertible and 2-door coupe options. Each trim is rear-wheel-drive and designed to seat 4.

The available Heads Up Display has three different settings that can help you put valuable information just where you need it. This display can show you turn-by-turn directions, your speed, and radio information. Drivers also get a 7-inch diagonal touch screen standard. This can be upgraded to the available 8-inch diagonal touchscreen. The Camaro is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Navigation is available, and Sirius XM Radio comes with a 12-month free trial.

Camaro vehicles are famous for their performance. Available Launch Control will allow you to adjust your wheel slippage and launch RPM using the driver information center. This makes sure your rear wheels are kept spinning and ready for optimized acceleration. ZL1 and SS models that are equipped with the available 10-speed automatic transmission get Custom Launch Control. This can modify engine torque while also locking the front wheels, allowing the rear wheels to spin until they reach an optimal temperature for take-off. Remember, both Launch Control and Custom Launch Control are meant for use during closed course racing events.
