The 2018 Camaro comes in both coupe and convertible body styles, as well as six trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, 2SS, ZL1 and ZL1 1LE. While cabin equipment varies by model, most Camaros are equipped with standard features like LED running lights, keyless ignition/entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a 7-inch MyLink touchscreen.

Other available features include everything from heated and ventilated front seats, auto-dimming mirrors and a sunroof to wireless smart phone charging, a head-up display and a nine-speaker Bose sound system.

Choose Your Camaro's Horsepower

If you're still wondering "what Camaro should I buy," then you'll definitely want to see what each model is capable of. All models come standard with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission, although automatic transmission options are available.

1LT & 2LT

Despite having the mildest engine in the lineup, LT models offer a quite spirited driving experience with their turbocharged, 2.0L four-cylinder rated at 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Looking for an extra boost of power? The four-cylinder can be swapped out for a 3.6L V6 capable of 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque.

LT models are also available with several performance upgrades, including 20-inch forged-alloy wheels, aerodynamic spoilers, a dual-mode exhaust, a mechanical limited-slip differential, a FE3 sport-tuned suspension, four-piston Brembo brakes, a short-throw shifter and a track-cooling package.

1SS & 2SS

The SS trims are equipped with a robust 6.2-liter V8, which delivers a whopping 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. Both models come standard with the LT's available performance upgrades listed above, plus automatic rev-match downshift. However, buyers can also opt for upgrades such as six-piston Brembos, an FE4 suspension with active dampers, an electronic limited-slip differential, and heavy duty cooling and brake systems.

ZL1 & ZL1 1LE

The 2018 Camaro ZL1 for sale near me packs a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which, at 640 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque, is not only the most powerful engine in the lineup, but also the most powerful in Camaro history. Pairing its engine with an aerodynamic design and lightweight carbon fiber accessories, along with a slew of innovative performance technologies, the ZL1 is a top choice for driving enthusiasts looking to have their mind blown.

New this year, the ZL1 1LE adds what 2018 Camaro reviews call an "extreme track performance package," which consists of forged aluminum wheels, exclusive Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires and a racing-derived Multimatic Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve.

2018 Camaro Safety Features

In addition to the usual safety features like side curtain airbags, antilock brakes and stability control, the 2018 Camaro can be outfitted with several popular driver-assist features. From rear park assist and blind-spot monitoring to lane departure warning, the Camaro offers more available safety technologies than most other sports cars in its class.
