As one of the leading car brands in the world, Chevy's continued to be a competing automaker that has influenced the decisions of other manufacturers in the industry. As a part of General Motors, it was recently announced that the company would move toward only producing all-electric vehicles. It hopes that it will only sell EV models by 2035.

 

In the latter half of 2021, Chevrolet will start offering electric motors from its popular electric vehicle, the Chevrolet Bolt EV, to outfit other cars that traditionally run on regular gasoline. The company plans to roll out its electric motors and packages later next year. Parts will be sourced from the Bolt EV to provide other vehicles with an electric mechanical configuration that generates approximately 200 HP.
