Pets & Pumpkins Festival Is Returning to Springfield!

Pets and Pumpkins Festival in Springfield, Missouri

Celebrate the spookiest time of the year in style at the annual Pets and Pumpkins Festival, which will once again return to Springfield on Saturday, October 21.

From noon to 5 p.m., two blocks of Historic Commercial Street, between Robberson and Campbell roads, will be transformed into a pet-themed Halloween extravaganza, featuring a variety of activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Dress Fido and Fifi in their scariest Halloween attire for a chance to win a prize in the event’s costume contest. You can enter your pet in one of the following categories: Best Pet/Owner Combo, Most Original, Funniest, Cutest, Scariest and Judge's Overall Favorite. Other goblins and ghouls of the non-furry variety are also encouraged to wear Halloween outfits as well.

Other attractions include inflatables for the kids, marshmallow roasting (at dusk) and music. Bring your appetite too, as there will be a variety of food items available for purchase. Additionally, festival goers are welcome to take part in safe trick-or-treating fun throughout the event, giving you the perfect excuse to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Admission is $2 per pet. For more information please click here. Happy Halloween!
